A spacious unit for up to 10 guests, including children, with parking in front of the building. Extra large kitchen, dining, living areas and balcony. Access to a large pool, boat rinse facility, basketball court and laundry facility. Access to the beach via a concrete walkway through the dunes. All kitchen supplies included. All linens and towels provided for the allotted number of guests. Daily towel exchange and trash pick-up provided. Community charcoal barbecue pits located throughout the property. A one-time cleanup fee applies. No pets. Three vehicles allowed for this unit. All cars and carts must be registered at the office.

    Pros:
    I loved the layout for this rental. It was perfect for 10 adults and 2 infants. Beautiful view of the pool and ocean. The living area was roomy. It has a large, well stocked kitchen with an island. There is also a dining table that seats 10. The beds were comfy, although the bunk beds squeak when you move. It's very homey -- not your usual cookie-cutter condo.

    Cons:
    The carpet needs a thorough cleaning -- one of our infants is a crawler and his knees were dirty. We also had an issue with the thermostat -- the air conditioner worked well, but the thermostat must have been pre-programmed -- we would set it for 72 and after a couple of hours it would reset to 80.

    Overall, space-wise this was the best condo I've ever rented. The decor is nicely done. It's within walking distance to the beach, although there is a very steep dune to cross. Very nice, big pool. There is ample parking -- they charge $15 a day for additional vehicles, but parking is available. Close to the beach, shopping, eateries, etc.

    Also remember this is a 3rd floor condo and there is no elevator.

    Going to Port A has been a family tradition for over 33 yrs. We've actually stayed at the Pelican several times. This condo fit our family of 9 perfect! The condo is old with nice kitchen updates. Please owners, take out the carpet and replace with tile, carpet has seen better days. Also, the cleaning staff was short staffed...... Condo was not deep cleaned, surface only. We had to clean the tubs ourselves ! Ugh! Overall, great view, size of condo is nice, bedrooms comfortable. If I was the owner, I would make sure the Pelican kept better care of my investment. ALSO...... read the contract CAREFULLY!!!!
